Megan Mullally

I don't know what has drawn me to Megan Mullally lately, but I know I was looking on YouTube for the ad for I Can't Believe it's Not Butter and her music video, "Turn the Tub Around." Let me tell you something... if you've never heard Megan Mullally sing, she has a cute voice and a beautiful singing voice. I haven't seen a single episode of "Will and Grace" or any other show she's been on.

Here is a picture of the lovely Megan Mullally:

Megan Mullally is a fantastic singer and very beautiful both singing and performing. She is nothing short of awesome. Here are a few YouTube videos featuring Megan Mullally's singing talent:

Shooties

Recommendation for Facebook friends: click on this note and comment on my full blog entry!

What do you get when you combine a sexy slip-on shoe with the covering appeal of boots? You get shoe booties! Or in more common nomenclature, you get "shooties." Think "shoe" and "bootie" (as in ankle boots) put together. These shoes are the hybrid of shoes and boots. They are boots that are also average shoes. But considering some of the styles they come in, these are very appealing shoes that combine shoe and boot into a lovely package.

--- Shootie Appeal ---
It doesn't take too much to learn what makes shooties so attractive. If you think of shooties as boots that can be worn as comfortably and stylishly as a pair of pumps while still providing the covered comfort boots provide, and not without having to pull them down or unzip or unlace them, you can appreciate their beauty. In fact, I like to think of shooties as the boot alternative to a pair of pumps. Most shooties are either ankle-height or somewhere below the ankles. Because they are so short, you could either wear these under jean/pant legs or wear them with a short skirt. Another hot option would be (for a night look) pairing a classy pair of short-shorts with a hot pair of shooties. It may be too cold for you to try these with short shorts, but at least you know you can try a look like this if you want. A pair of leggings or tights can be worn with these for a hot look. If you fancy fishnet stockings or tights, those are fine too. The one thing I fear is that these shooties may not be for every female, especially petites.

Here is a picture of shooties being worn. Maybe not a hot outfit, but still a good way of showing shooties off:

I think the best way to wear these is to look for a long tunic, a short skirt or dress, or a pair of short-shorts along with a lovely pair of shooties. A pair of stockings, tights, or leggings to accompany them can add some extra kick to the look. Or just go for some fishnet stockings. This is a great way to show some fierce chic. So go find a pair of shooties and go look fab! :)

Here are some other shooties that I've found on Amazon. Maybe these will help you get into the trend!

Happy New Year!

Happy new year to all of you! I know my 2009 was terrible. It started terrible. It began with word that I got high blood pressure. And this was on the VERY FIRST WEEKEND of 2009. It kind of set the tone for a terrible year. Things would get better in the second half for me, but I still wished I could redo 2009 and have better luck and timing. But... there are no do-overs for years. When one year is tough, all you can hope for is that the new year turns out much better than the previous one.

On a much lighter note, did any of you see Travis Pastrana's epic jump in his Subaru? He tried to drive his Subaru rally car to fly into the air 200+ feet and land on a little barge. Read more about this epic jump he did here: Gaea Times.

(UPDATE) and here's a video for you:

Blog entries of mine are on the way. Time to kick off the new year proper, players!
