Fictional Character - Carmel Henderson

Carmel Henderson is the antagonist of my MUGEN project. She was to become a finalist for an all-female fighting tournament. However, the judges thought she was too classless of an individual. She didn't fight with honor or class. Still, the judges liked her overall fighting style. Part of this tournament is all about being yourself. When she felt like she was bound to go to Los Angeles to compete to become Grand Champion, Carmel was NOT invited to L.A. Feeling her dreams were absolutely crushed, she was somehow able to rally other dejected tournament hopefuls and create a faction. This massive faction is hellbent on making the eight finalists' lives Hell as well as try to sabotage the tournament.

NOTE: This blog entry may be updated at any time with pictures or edits to enhance this entry.

--- Basic Details ---
Name: Carmel Henderson
Full Name: Carmel Allison Henderson
Nickname: -none-
Birthplace: Washington, D.C., USA
Current City: New York City, NY, USA; but is living in Los Angeles, California, USA for the tournament
Born: June 10, 1989
Height: 5 feet, 7 inches
Body Type: slim and slender
Heritage: 100% American, but with some British heritage
Occupation: Internet model

--- About This Character ---
At one point, Carmel was one of the hottest teen models. She learned to develop her fighting skills by getting into a number of fights against peers in school. Graduating from her high school in 2008, she knows she's at the legal age to compete in an all-female fighting tournament.

Life.
Carmel was born Carmel Allison Henderson in Washington, D.C., USA. She's had such a baby face all of her life. Carmel always loved modeling and taking part in beauty pageants. She always aspired to become one of the world's most fantastic supermodels.

In her childhood, Carmel always considered herself "the most beautifulest girl in the world." She would show up to elementary school wearing cute outfits and cute dresses. Carmel was consistently one of the smartest students in her class. At age 11, Carmel took up martial arts to give herself things to do in bettering herself as a person and to have something to do away from school and modeling. She never got promoted up the belt ranks with martial arts.

It wasn't until Carmel's high school years that she really loved the level of confidence she had in herself and in her body. She started wearing shorter skirts and baring more of her belly. She even wore some low-rise jeans at the mall to try to woo away happily taken boys. After she graduated in 2008 from high school in Washington, D.C.; she wanted to move to New York City to concentrate on a modeling career. Carmel had the opportunity most people have in New York City- to be the best out of millions of people. She would attend New York Yankees baseball games and New York Knicks basketball games. One day at a Knicks game, she saw an advertisement for a brand-new all-female fighting tournament with qualifying matches at Madison Square Garden. Carmel became excited at the possibility to compete in the tournament to become the superstar she's always wanted to be.

This otherwise sweet teenager developed an attitude change being around certain snoody people in New York City who heckled her. Carmel started wearing fashion trends and looks that most people hated, just so she can annoy her peers to no end. She carried this personality into the tournament and did pretty well in her qualifying matches. Carmel's biggest challenge in the Semi-Final qualifying matches was against a native New Yorker named Abbie "A.J." Garcia. When the two headed out onto the stage set up inside Madison Square Garden, Carmel beat A.J. in their qualifying fight. The judges were willing to give good marks to Carmel... until she did the unthinkable. Being a sore loser, Carmel was somehow able to disconnect the bra A.J. was wearing from underneath her shirt. Carmel then knocked A.J. down hard to the ground and ripped off the T-shirt she was wearing. Carmel was then dancing over A.J. as she could only look up at Carmel's denim mini skirt, sheer leggings, and neon green panties. After a while, someone gave A.J. another T-shirt to wear as she was able to re-attach her bra while down on the floor.

The judges convened as they decided on which eight finalists would go on to Los Angeles to fight for the honor of Grand Champion and achieve "unworldly fame." The judges voted in A.J. Garcia despite her losing to Carmel. As Carmel found out she wasn't invited to the tournament, that attitude change went from bad girl to villainess. Carmel found a bunch of other dejected semi-finalists and assembled a faction. These were girls within that age range of 18 and 30 who were supremely jealous of the eight tournament finalists vowed to annoy the eight finalists. This group, often referred to as the "Jealous Girls" all went out to L.A. as this fighting tournament was started. Anytime the faction sees any of the finalists, a number of them will try to blindside the finalists as many of these Jealous Girls would try and mob and attack each finalist. Out of instinct, these finalists understandably try to fight for their lives. None of these jealous young ladies carried lethal weapons. All they do is try to fight hand-to-hand against the finalists. They'll even show up in public places waiting to attack them. Carmel, meanwhile, hides in the shadows.

Carmel's greatest asset to her faction was an enforcer named Buttercup Bonnet. Despite her cutesy name, Buttercup is a sly and slick fighter. She sometimes uses seduction tactics to distract her enemies. With Buttercup at Carmel's side, Carmel has the ultimate weapon against the eight tournament finalists. There are sometimes moments where she questions the loyalties of Buttercup because she sometimes acts among herself.

In addition to adding Buttercup as her enforcer, she's also found four different young women to serve as her highest henchwomen in helping sabotage the tournament. These four women are like Carmel's Secret Service for if Carmel is attacked or in an intense battle. Carmel sometimes randomly calls in members of her faction to give Carmel the edge in battle. These girls would throw something hard at the tournament finalists or even be used as human shields to defend Carmel from getting hurt.

--- Style of Carmel Henderson ---
An aspect of this fighting game concept is fashion. It's a convergence of personalities and styles in one package.

Primary Look.
Carmel has no basic primary look. Instead, her look is based on what she wears on the night of the tournament final, which is also her birthday. She wears a strapless royal blue mini dress with a pleated bottom. Her footwear is a pair of gold metallic tall, strappy gladiator-type sandals.

Secondary Looks and Variations.
There is no secondary look for Carmel except for her makeup being ruined and her hair a mess.

--- The Tournament ---
Since my character is a fighter from my MUGEN project, this pertains to her history as a fighter.

Carmel Henderson's plans were to make it to Los Angeles to win the tournament and expand upon her supermodel career. As a fighter, Carmel demonstrates some great moves and is very athletic. She gets the most unnecessary of edges as she is able to use members of her faction to either help her out when in a pinch or when trying to gain any unfair advantage. She claims she doesn't need the help of her faction girls, but sometimes used them in conjunction with her original fighting abilities.

In the storyline for this character, Carmel challenges (the tournament winner) to a battle whereas nicely-dressed young ladies in formal and semi-formal attire attack the tournament champion. After Carmel is beaten in the ring, Carmel runs outside to the front doors of the ballroom where the tournament final is held. That tournament winner must fight Carmel outside of that ballroom. As Carmel sees her enforcer, Buttercup, Buttercup immediately turns her back on Carmel and decides to soften up Carmel a bit for the tournament winner to finish the job. The seven eliminated finalists are in the crowd of people to cheer on the tournament winner. It is here where Carmel fights hand-to-hand and gets serious. Her only help is her four primary henchwomen only for Super attacks.

And that's the villainess and mastermind behind foiling the tournament!

Extra Notes
* I initially had Carmel as a blonde. Then, I changed her to a brunette. Part of me still has her as a blonde. Her true hairstyle is uncertain.

* I almost wanted to name her "Caramel," but chose Carmel. I actually envisioned the possibilities of a battle between Carmel and Candy Love. Think of caramel vs. candy. Would make one "sweet" fight!

* Carmel would have been the second-youngest tournament fighter if she was in the tournament. She was born a month after Suzie LeMarie.

* In the daytime in casual clothes, Carmel's faction of girls also wear casual clothes. At nighttime, member's of Carmel's faction all dress up in nightclub or formal clothes. The ones called the "Jealous Girls" by the tournament finalists all wear clothes based on fashion styles I dislike. Some of those were fashion styles I forgave sometime later.

* If I made this character for MUGEN, if you chose Carmel as your character, your final boss would be A.J. Garcia. An alternative story to my MUGEN project was that members of Carmel Henderson's faction viciously beaten A.J. Garcia to where A.J. would not be in any condition to fight in the tournament. Carmel was selected as an alternate. She didn't claim responsibility for incapacitating A.J. Garcia. Carmel would fight all the way to become champion without needing help from her faction. But when Carmel was set to celebrate, A.J. appears on stage and challenges her to a fight. Alternately, fighting as Carmel would mean your final boss could be... the boss version of Carmel Henderson.

This blog entry finishes off the eight finalists of the tournament and the two outsiders. There is actually a sequel to this MUGEN project as another tournament with more fighters will come along! More Fictional Character blog entries will follow with more info on each of the characters in the second tournament!

Fictional Character - Buttercup Bonnet

Though she did not qualify as a tournament finalist for an all-female fighting tournament, Buttercup Bonnet has a secret agenda important to her. Buttercup knows something the eight finalists may not know- a dejected tournament snub has vowed to attack the eight finalists by hiring other tournament snubs to beat them into submission. So this young fighter decided to align herself with the mastermind behind this evil plot. Thing is, that mastermind doesn't know that Buttercup is a decoy.

NOTE: This blog entry may be updated at any time with pictures or edits to enhance this entry.

--- Basic Details ---
Name: Buttercup Bonnet
Full Name: Buttercup Daisy Bonnet
Nickname: "B-Cup" is most popular; some call her Daisy
Birthplace: St. Louis, Missouri, USA
Current City: St. Louis, Missouri, USA; but is living in Los Angeles, California, USA for the tournament
Born: September 19, 1984
Height: 5 feet, 9 inches
Body Type: slim and slender
Heritage: 100% American, but with some Scottish and Dutch heritage
Occupation: beautician, also a vigilante

--- About This Character ---
Buttercup is not afraid or skeptical of her name. She feels her name is as feminine and pure as any other flower names (like Madison, Allison, etc.). The young lady believes in standing up for what she believes in. There are moments when she can be very impervious to any threat or challenge set before her. But then, there are also moments where she is timid and shy. Buttercup has two sides to her- one is not afraid to fight, and the other is where she is timid and shy. Like Candy Love, Buttercup sometimes doesn't realize how powerful she really is.

Life.
Buttercup was born as Buttercup Daisy Bonnet, the youngest daughter to a mother who was an award-winning gardener. Her sister is Heather Bonnet, who is two years older than her. A beautiful day to Buttercup is when she can enjoy playing with flowers. She's always been one to enjoy purity and peace. At her very core, she is passionate and caring.

Buttercup played sports in her youth. She mostly played softball and basketball. Her favorite sport was bowling. Her father, Daniel Bonnet, won a handful of bowling opens in his native Philadelphia. Buttercup decided to incorporate a little bowling into her wardrobe. She even wore actual bowling shoes as part of her outfits at times! Buttercup actually won herself some bowling honors playing as a high school student.

Buttercup chose to enroll in beauty school rather than meet her aspirations of graduating from the University of Missouri. She felt like beauty was important to her. There seemed to be a hidden energy to transforming someone's looks in her mind. So with this in mind, Buttercup was able to successfully earn her degree to start a career as a beautician. She started out at one salon in her native St. Louis. Each day was enjoyable when someone's hair was styled by her. For good luck, she makes sure to have some buttercup flowers in one or more of her pockets to her clothes.

Buttercup would develop a change in personality one day in St. Louis. The salon she worked for was robbed as various items were stolen. She made the bold decision to pursue the robbers and bring them to justice. One of the robbers was a porn addict. In a bold move, Buttercup came up with her own sting operation. This is where she developed a much better appreciation for her body than ever before. She decided to use seduction to take down the robbers. The boldest move she attempted was in going braless. It was pretty bold considering that Buttercup was wearing a satin button-down blouse. She then buttoned down her blouse to about mid-waist, proudly exposing her cleavage in an attempt to seduce the robbers to submission. The robbers were definitely turned on by the beautiful lady. Then later... Buttercup was able to take down both robbers and report them to police. She even recovered the stolen items and became a heroine. She even got a big time gift- Buttercup was granted her own salon after one salon in St. Louis went out of business.

This is where Buttercup decided to become more of a vigilante. Vigilante justice felt good. She would devote some time to try to take care of any other matters affecting her community. This even includes curbing high school violence from her former high school. Feeling like she's mastered a good set of moves, she thought about joining an all-female fighting tournament. She made it all the way out to the American finals in New York City, but was dejected that she was not among the eight finalists at tournament's end. But rather than hate the world she lives in and the life she lives, Buttercup just wanted to return to her salon in St. Louis. That is... until one other snubbed finalist was secretly trying to recruit other non-finalists to attack the real tournament finalists. Buttercup felt like she made the worst decision of her life when she joined the dark faction set to sabotage the tournament. She lied about her age, saying she was 19 when she was really 24. From there, Buttercup was recruited as an enforcer to the dark mastermind's faction.

Buttercup got up close and personal to the plan put into play by this dark mastermind. She learned almost everything she needed to know. With this knowledge, she moved to Los Angeles (where the tournament rounds would be held) taking the laptop she got for Christmas to investigate on this dark plan.

--- Style of Buttercup Bonnet ---
An aspect of this fighting game concept is fashion. It's a convergence of personalities and styles in one package.

Primary Look.
Buttercup felt so confident in her looks when stunning robbers that she decided to sport the look as her primary outfit. The only difference is that she wears high-waist slacks rather than the tan-colored jeans she wore when she tricked the salon robbers. Her blouse is a button-down dark green satin blouse. This blouse is opened up to expose as much of her cleavage and chest without overdoing it. She wears a black bra underneath to feel comfortable even when fighting. The blouse is tucked into a pair of khaki-colored high-waist slacks. The high-waist pants have a sexy pair of flap pockets at the back. And rather than wear pumps, she wears some sleek retro oxford sneakers as sleek as her favorite bowling shoes.

Secondary Looks and Variations.
The only variation to her primary look is going braless. An alternative look is styled much like her primary look, only it's more casual. She wears a button-down burgundy shirt with elbow-length cuffed sleeves. Her shirt is unbuttoned and opened up largely. But rather than wearing a bra, she wears a basic white T-shirt underneath. Those shirts are tucked into a pair of medium blue high-waist bootcut jeans. She wears a pair of brown industrial-type oxford shoes (similar to Doc Martens) to complete the casual look.

--- The Tournament ---
Since my character is a fighter from my MUGEN project, this pertains to her history as a fighter.

Buttercup Bonnet is rated as someone who is undeniably sneaky. She can be cunning, but there's no denying she is talented as a fighter.

Buttercup's main goal is to warn the other tournament finalists that someone is out to try to beat them. Buttercup, herself, even fights against the finalists until she finally confesses her secret that she's a decoy. She wants to keep everything a secret because she doesn't want to betray the faction mastermind until the tournament concludes.

Extra Notes
* Her name is NOT based on Buttercup of the Powerpuff Girls, nor was any aspect of her an inspiration to create her. This was solely (initially) based

* The garden to Buttercup's house was created by her mother. Since the garden work was complete, Buttercup's garden has won Garden of the Month every month for the past five months.

* Buttercup sometimes brags about bowling above 200 consistently. She used to commonly bowl above 200 and once bowled an all-time high of 270. But recently, she finishes bowling scores between 165 and 180. I almost based these bowling scores on my performance playing bowling in Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort.

Again, I may update these blog entries with pictures. Any of my art work can be found on my Myspace page. Thanks for reading!

This blog entry finishes off the eight finalists of the tournament. Finally, the final character is the mastermind behind the evil faction will be in my next post.

Fictional Character - Marisol Castillo

Life is one big party to Marisol Castillo, and she's always the woman of the hour. Born in a place famous for its eccentric nightlife, the Spaniard is all about the beach lifestyle as well as the trance lifestyle. She's a mix of a party girl, a beach girl, and a '70s girl (though she was born in the '80s. Looking to become the most fabulous diva in the world, she's had to put up with lots of jealous girls. She says that her attitude problem is from dealing with lots of haters. Marisol is a fictional character from my MUGEN project I discussed in my MUGEN project.

NOTE: The following is a conceptual image of my fictional character using Meez. This image will be used as a placeholder until I create a proper image to share online.

^ Marisol Castillo (conceptual image), a fictional MUGEN character idea of mine

--- Basic Details ---
Name: Marisol Castillo
Full Name: Marisol Xochitl Castillo
Nickname: Wild Child
Birthplace: Ibiza Town, Ibiza, Spain
Current City: Ibiza Town, Ibiza, Spain; and has two houses in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; and Laguna Beach, California, USA
Born: November 3, 1985
Height: 5 feet, 7 inches
Body Type: Athletic build
Heritage: 100% Spanish
Occupation: -none-

Thinks About Herself As: friendly, fun-loving, cool... only as long as you're not on her bad side.

--- About This Character ---
Marisol loves the beach lifestyle. So much so that she'll find any excuse to head out the door wearing her bikini top on a warm, sunny day under a cropped denim vest. Through working out often, she's able to maintain her sexy figure. She's the kind of girl who would prefer a margarita or a martini over a fruit smoothie. While she doesn't live dangerously, she's not your average party girl.

Life.
Marisol was born Marisol Xochitl Castillo. The middle name came from her grandmother, Xochitl Castillo. Both of her parents are Spanish. Marisol was born in Ibiza, which is best known for its wild nightlife and pulsating electronica music. The family would move to Valencia, Spain when Ibiza got to be a bit too much to raise a family in Ibiza Town. Marisol was very cute as a little girl. She won a talent contest by dancing beautifully to Spanish folk music. Marisol even had interest in making guitar music playing beautiful Spanish folk music.

As Marisol became a teenager, her life started to change dramatically. She would become too involved in the beach lifestyle even to the point of consuming alcoholic beverages. She once almost had alcohol poisoning. A defiant and rebellious Marisol felt like she was above everyone- including her parents. She was kicked out of their Valencia house as she moved back to her home in Ibiza Town. Then later, Marisol would start going to the clubs in Ibiza to hang out with other teens loving the trance sessions at Ibiza.

Marisol started to get a different attitude when she started to come into contact with girls who was jealous of her personality.

Marisol started to become fond of '70s culture in addition to the beach and dance music cultures. She's always had a hairstyle similar to a curly afro. She started making her hair curly and cute. The sides of Marisol's head were covered with very cute locks of her curly afro. She then got herself some huge Onassis sunglasses (like those made famous by Jackie-O). These sunglasses have multiple little rhinestones on the top and bottom of the lenses. There are also some extra rhinestones on the sides of the glasses. But since the sides are covered by Marisol's cute curly bob, only so few get to see Marisol's pretty hazel eyes.

The next style change was to find some bell bottoms and some funky platform shoes. Marisol found a cute pair of khaki bell bottom jeans with a very wide (but not massive) flare. She then needed some funky platform shoes to complete her '70s-inspired fashion. So she was able to find a pair of rugged, casual platform oxford shoes. She's now a '70s diva who is the perfect marriage of retro and modern. She proudly bears her lovely body.

Ready to show off her new style, Marisol returned to some of the nightclubs where she was heckled. Some girls wanted to fight her outside of the club. That's when Marisol started developing some fighting skills. Some of the girls that have made fun of Marisol got beaten to where they ran away from her. Marisol's wild ways made her feel like she shouldn't be in Ibiza. So she moved to two homes in two different places. Marisol began to live in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. This is where she took her '70s diva style to the streets of Cabo San Lucas. She was quite a head-turner as her wardrobe consisted of a cropped denim vest, one of her strapless bikini tops, her khaki bell bottoms, and her funky platform shoes. Not truly satisfied living in Mexico, she moved to San Diego, California, USA. That was followed up by moving to her current American home in Laguna Beach, California, USA.

With a fighting tournament that has started auditioning, Marisol decided to infuse her personality into fighting. She was great enough as a fighter to move on to New York City for the final qualifiers. At first, she hated every girl who looked at her strange. The wild child from Ibiza began to ease up and actually was liked for being different than all other girls. She was very tough. So tough, that she was invited as a finalist in this tournament.

--- Style of Marisol Castillo ---
An aspect of this fighting game concept is fashion. It's a convergence of personalities and styles in one package.

Primary Look.
Marisol's style is a convergence of beach girl, party girl, and '70s girl in one. She wears a cropped denim jean vest and wears either a purple strapless bikini top or a triangle bikini top underneath. She wears a matching string-tie bikini bottom with the string ties worn over her khaki bell bottom jeans. And of course, she wears her platform sneakers. Marisol wears her huge sunglasses, but takes them off when fighting. She feels her hottest when she can tower over her opposition.

Secondary Looks and Variations.
There aren't too many variations of her look. Only other variation would be changing up the sneakers with platform flip-flop sandals.

--- The Tournament ---
Since my character is a fighter from my MUGEN project, this pertains to her history as a fighter.

Marisol was touted as being a brawling-type fighter. She is not really old school fighting, but she delivers on punches and kicks quite well. Not even her platforms can slow her down. Marisol isn't quick, but she's as equal as Lydia, only Lydia is much more of an athletic specimen than Marisol.

Marisol wants to win the tournament to basically live a new life away from Ibiza. It isn't that she hates Ibiza or not that she dislikes the trance sessions in Ibiza, it's just that she just needs time in the United States to be free and live a different life. She does hope to return to Ibiza to enjoy nightlife again and to basically become a new person. She's well-respected by almost all tournament finalists and only uses her attitude problem when girls screw with her.

Extra Notes
* When I came up with my MUGEN project, she was initially not going to be a character. I had a Chinese character lined up as the character to take the place of Marisol initially. This Chinese friend would just be a friend of Tomomi Tsuchiya who would come by to hang out and have fun.

* Marisol's hair was semi-inspired by a Spanish Facebook and YouTube friend of mine. It was to be an afro, but mi amiga desde España has prompted me to change her hairstyle to something similar to my friend's hair.

* Marisol also exhibits '90s fashion, where bootcut pant and jean legs, belly-exposing, and platform shoe wearing were the rage. Because I've been so fond of late '90s style, she is really a mix of '70s retro and the daring late '90s styles.

Again, I may update these blog entries with pictures. Any of my art work can be found on my Myspace page. Thanks for reading!

This blog entry finishes off the eight finalists of the tournament. Future entries in the "Fictional Characters" category will consist of the two outsiders that play a big role in my storyline. One of them is a vigilante while the other is plotting to sabotage the tournament with her faction of jealous tournament snubs.

Fictional Character - Keisha "Crazy Legs" Kirkpatrick

Keisha Kirkpatrick loves music and dancing. She loves hip-hop dances and even loves singing R&B. Keisha is a true "Dirty South" girl born in the hip-hop hotbed of Atlanta, Georgia. Keisha is quite fit and active. Because of her amazing dancing moves, her friends have called her "Crazy Legs." Those legs became even crazier when she took up fighting. A very special fan of hers needs her help most. So when Keisha joined this fighting tournament, she knew who she'd most love to fight to save someone's life... her ailing mother. Crazy Legs is a fictional character from my MUGEN project I discussed in my MUGEN project.

NOTE: The following is a conceptual image of my fictional character using Meez. This image will be used as a placeholder until I create a proper image to share online.

^ Keisha "Crazy Legs" Kirkpatrick (conceptual image), a fictional MUGEN character idea of mine

--- Basic Details ---
Name: Keisha "Crazy Legs" Kirkpatrick
Full Name: Keisha Janelle Kirkpatrick
Nickname: Crazy Legs (sometimes "Krazy Legs," and sometimes "Krazy Legz")
Birthplace: Atlanta, Georgia, USA
Current City: Atlanta, Georgia USA, but previously lived in Birmingham, Alabama, USA
Born: August 25, 1986
Height: 5 feet, 7 inches
Body Type: Athletic build
Heritage: Black American, some Nigerian descent
Occupation: Recording Artist

Thinks of Herself As: friendly and genuine. She's strong-willed and determined as well.

--- About This Character ---
Keisha was the kind of girl who could put on a show anywhere she's out. She loves hip-hop and R&B, but also likes pop music and some electronica. She goes out to do hip-hop dancing dance at clubs and sometimes does breakdancing (or as breakdancing girls are often called, B-Girls) and even goes to raves. Very successful in school, she always loved basketball. She helped win a State Championship for her high school basketball team. She could have taken a scholarship to play basketball at Alabama A&M, but she declined to focus on a career in music. A month since graduating from Alabama A&M, Keisha learned that her mother is battling breast cancer. To help her mother win her fight against breast cancer, she moved back to Atlanta to check on her mother. With her family strapped for cash, she feels the best way to raise enough money to help her mother win her fight against breast cancer, Keisha entered a fighting tournament to fight for her mother's life. Keisha will donate all or most of her winnings to help her mother fight breast cancer as well as help out others who are battling breast cancer.

Life.
Keisha was born Keisha Janelle Kirkpatrick in 1986. Even as a child, she always would always dance to music that was fun to listen to. She's mostly a Black American, but her father and grandfather had Nigerian blood in them. Keisha consistently made the Honor Roll in middle school. When her grades stumbled a bit, she wanted to challenge herself by going to high school and playing for her girls' basketball team. Keisha played point guard and played it quite well. One time in the state playoffs in Georgia, it was her high school vs. a rival for the state championship. Down 17 points at halftime, Keisha electrified the audience with a shooting performance for the ages. A late layup by Keisha helped her high school to win the state championship.

Keisha was so proud of her accomplishments that she was granted scholarship offers to go to some big name colleges. However, she chose to move to Birmingham, Alabama. She was admitted to Alabama A&M University, where she concentrated on her studies and in her musical aspirations. Keisha lived on campus, but sometimes would return to her Birmingham home on the weekends. Keisha sometimes competed in dancing competitions. Keisha's moves were so awesome that even the hip-hop boys took notice. She loves that she was able to "throw them bows" about as good as any hip-hop boy dancers. Keisha had vibes too. The people in Birmingham were pleased as how one girl was able to take part in aggressive dances and also be able to sing beautifully. Keisha even laid down a few freestyle raps, again, captivating the audience.

One girl who attended Keisha's college turned out to be her primary rival, both as a dancing rival and as a physical rival. Her name was Chrissy Di Marco from San Diego, California. Keisha became rivals with her. It began as a friendly rivalry on the dance floor. But later, it became a physical rivalry when Chrissy attacked Keisha after losing a dance battle against her. Chrissy started to dress more like Keisha wearing a cropped hoodie, fleece cargo pants, and some all-white sneakers. She started emulating Keisha's style to extend their rivalry. When Chrissy couldn't fit in and compete against Keisha, she transferred to another school. Keisha eventually graduated from Alabama A&M as she aimed to be the next best thing in American music.

Keisha moved back to Atlanta to check on her old friends and her family. The one thing she was unaware of was her mother having breast cancer. Her mother, Caroline was born in Detroit and became a fixture in MoTown and in Atlanta. Keisha's family was unable to help get her mother to a hospital to help her in her fight against breast cancer. A good friend of Caroline named Charles invited her to San Francisco to help her in her fight against breast cancer. Funny enough, a fighting tournament will give away the ultimate prize- lots of money, two sweet cars, and a brand-new mansion south of downtown San Francisco. Keisha feels this is a great way to help raise money to help her mother win her battle against breast cancer.

Keisha went ahead and bought a magenta cropped hoodie. She, with the help of some of her friends, added some graphics to the back of her hoodie. The back of her hoodie has "MOM" sewn on the back and with a big design similar to the pink ribbon that signifies breast cancer awareness. She aims to wear this cropped hoodie as part of her outfit to represent her mother in the tournament.

--- Style of Crazy Legs ---
An aspect of this fighting game concept is fashion. It's a convergence of personalities and styles in one package.

Primary Look.
Keisha's look is a sporty hip-hop girl. She wears a black sports bra, but underneath her cropped hoodie. Keisha proudly shows off her sculpted abs and built body. She wears army green cargo capri pants and a pair of hip-hop appropriate white sneakers.

Secondary Looks and Variations.
An alternate look for her is a cropped white hoodie with "MOM" and the breast cancer ribbon in pink. When not fighting, she sometimes wears a pair of fleece cargo pants along with her sneakers. She really doesn't wear sneakers too often, as you can usually find her in some cute ballet flats or any of her dressy pumps.

--- The Tournament ---
Since my character is a fighter from my MUGEN project, this pertains to her history as a fighter.

Crazy Legs knows how to deliver pain. Her punches and arm attacks are powerful, but the majority of her offense can be found with her legs. Keisha is amazingly flexible with her legs. Various kicking attacks are available in Keisha's arsenal. Some people, however, think Keisha relies too much on her legs for offense and wishes she would utilize more punching attacks. She is very athletic and fit, almost like her rival nicknamed "LOVE."

Keisha wants to win this tournament to help finance her mother's fight against breast cancer. She will donate all or most of her winnings to help her mother fight breast cancer in San Francisco. Her mother is her biggest fan, and she will fight to save her mother's life.

Because of her love of hip-hop, she grew a rivalry with Sandy Gonzalez as Sandy was rubbed the wrong way being in a tournament with someone like Keisha. Keisha can't stand Sandy's music, and Sandy couldn't stand Keisha's music. And so... a rivalry was born. Keisha became friends with A.J. Garcia and Candy Love as well as help out Suzie LeMarie with her problems.

Extra Notes
* I almost wanted to name Keisha as Keisha Jessica Kirkpatrick, as I once known a girl named Jessica Kirkpatrick. But I've decided to change her middle name up to something different.

Fictional Character - Tomomi Tsuchiya

Tomomi Tsuchiya is a young softball player from Tokyo, Japan. Tomomi, who is all of five feet tall, aspires to become a great softball player and even become a major celebrity in American media. She loves sports and is pretty sporty herself. Losing one friend and gaining another helps her to stay motivated in all of her work. She is one of eight fictional characters from my MUGEN project I discussed in my MUGEN project.

NOTE: The following is a conceptual image of my fictional character using Meez. This image will be used as a placeholder until I create a proper image to share online.

^ Tomomi Tsuchiya (conceptual image), a fictional MUGEN character idea of mine

--- Basic Details ---
Name: Tomomi Tsuchiya
Full Name: Tomomi Tsuchiya
Nickname: TomTom or TomTsu
Birthplace: Tokyo, Japan
Current City: Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
Born: April 5, 1990
Height: 5 feet, 0 inches
Body Type: Slim and Slender
Heritage: 100% Japanese
Occupation: Softball Player and College Student

Thinks of Herself As: friendly and sweet, loves making people happy

--- About This Character ---
Tomomi Tsuchiya has loved sports since being a little girl. She loves Tokyo and loves Japan. Tomomi would love to meet her favorite professional baseball players in Japan. Tomomi's story is that of losing one friend, and making a new one that has helped her to remain strong and motivated.

Life.
Tomomi Tsuchiya was born in April of 1990 in Tokyo's Shibuya district. A lot of her childhood was spent up north in the Asakusa district. She loves seeing sakura petals fall from trees and either on the ground or on lakes and streams. As she was getting older, she became better educated on speaking English. She has practiced kendo as a child. Her late grandfather was bold enough to let Tomomi use his katana to practice sword fighting. While swinging a katana, she imagined she was swinging a softball bat in a crucial game. This is where she would develop a new love.

Tomomi wanted to try sports when one of her friends was a son of a legendary baseball player in Japan. The two got to meet each other and talk baseball when class isn't in session. Tomomi would become friends with a classmate named Noriko Watanabe, a pitcher for a softball team in Shibuya. Tomomi took some time to learn softball and how to play it. As she got the hang of softball, she tried out to be with a team solely made up of teenage girls. Tomomi and Noriko now became part of a team. Tomomi loved playing First Base because she loves for her best friend to throw the ball to Tomomi on First Base to strike out opposing hitters.

They took on teams from other parts of Tokyo as well as a few teams from Yokohama. The Shibuya team was good enough to play for an eight-team championship. Noriko pitched a perfect game in the first round of the tournament, as the Shibuya team won 5-0. Then in the next game, Noriko played a complete game giving up only two runs as the Shibuya team won 7-2. Then in the Championship Game, they took on the highly-favored team from the Asakusa district of Tokyo. Tomomi's team would rally with two outs in the final inning to load the bases. Then when Tomomi stepped up to the plate down 7-4, she would nearly strike out... until the crowd chanted: "Gan-ba-re... To-mo-mi! Gan-ba-tte... To-mo-mi!. On a full count, Tomomi swung the bat as hard as she could at the next pitch from the Asakusa pitcher. The ball flew way up into the air and out of the ballpark to land a game-winning Grand Slam that gave Shibuya the city championship. The girls were proud they won the championship. She hugged Noriko and thanked her for all she's done.

Losing One Friend...
One week after winning the championship, Noriko Watanabe was driving to Tomomi's house so they can go shopping. Unfortunately, she was still a little weak from the softball tournament and ended up being T-boned by an oncoming car on an intersection. She was killed instantly. When Tomomi learned of the tragic car crash, Tomomi felt like her heart stopped beating and broke into tears. Tomomi would attend her funeral the following week.

...and Gaining Another.
After Noriko's passing, Tomomi found a cute all-white Persian cat at a pet store. The cat was a very friendly and lovable girl. She meows in a very cute way with such a beautiful voice. Tomomi bought her and wanted to take care of her. She named her Noriko, in honor of her fallen friend. Both Noriko and Tomomi love cats. Tomomi would wonder sometimes at night if her cat is a heavenly spirit taking the form of a cat. Tomomi sometimes cuddles Noriko and pets her like she's the most adorable animal God has ever created. But in the back of Tomomi's mind, she wonders if her pet cat has embodied the spirit of her late best friend, Noriko.

While Noriko (the cat) is friendly to others, she feels like she can not live without the company of Tomomi. The two have established an emotional bond that seems unbreakable. Noriko meows beautifully when cuddled and embraced by Tomomi. Tomomi sometimes cries when Noriko meows because she's never heard a more beautiful meow from any cat she's ever encountered.

Time to Fight!
On April 10, 2008; Tomomi turned 18 years old- the minimum age of a brand-new all-female fighting tournament. Auditions for a fighting tournament began on her birthday. She got a specially-made aluminum softball bat. It was painted in her favorite color and her team's color- blue. Tomomi brought that aluminum softball bat to the tournament. The bat had "Tomomi" written in white hiragana letters and lots of pink sakura petals. Tomomi brought her softball bat to give herself a reach advantage. A tournament invites some of the best fighters from the Asia-Pacific had auditions in Tokyo. At the Tokyo Dome, Tomomi tried out her skill against other hopefuls from Japan, Korea Republic, China, Hong Kong, and even as far south as Australia. She even skillfully used this bat to block attacks. Her fighting skills were so impressive that she was invited to the tournament in Los Angeles to be among the eight finalists who will compete for "unworldly fame."

Tomomi's short-term goal is to play softball at a major American university. She's moved to her American home in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. So her plans are to play softball at THE Ohio State University. Tomomi also wants to represent Asians in American media. Winning this new tournament can help her to launch her career as well as be an Asian celebrity Americans to look up to.

--- Style of Tomomi Tsuchiya ---
An aspect of this fighting game concept is fashion. It's a convergence of personalities and styles in one package.

Primary Look.
Tomomi's style is characteristic of the daring styles of Japanese fashion. But really, she dresses casually to soak in the SoCal sunshine as she's in the tournament. She wears a specially-made blue softball jersey bearing her name. The top goes to about somewhere midway between Tomomi's bustline and her waistline. She wears some cute khaki-colored short-shorts with very short legs with big cuffs, and two flap pockets at the back. Her choice of footwear is a cute pair of schoolgirl-like mary janes that have about a 1 to 1.5 inch platform to them.

Secondary Looks and Variations.
Only other variation is her wearing softball gloves.

--- The Tournament ---
Since my character is a fighter from my MUGEN project, this pertains to her history as a fighter.

Tomomi is the youngest fighter in the tournament. She's the shortest fighter in the tournament at 5'0". She's a little girl with a big softball bat. Scouts say she's inventive with her offense and defense. However, they think with more stamina and with a little more power, she'd be a total favorite to win the whole tournament.

Tomomi wants to win to honor her late friend, Noriko, and also to proudly represent Asians in American media. She wants to be among many successful Asian celebrities in American media. Tomomi feels there aren't too many celebrated Asian celebrities, so she wants to be a pioneer at the tender age of 18.

Extra Notes
* The name "Tomomi" is a combination of "friend" (Tomo) and "beautiful" (Mi). So she's a beautiful friend! :)

* The name "Tomomi Tsuchiya" was the first name I practiced hiragana with. I had to learn: To-mo-mi and Tsu-chi-ya. Here's a translation I did with Google Translate. According to Google Translate, here is an English to Japanese translation for "Tomomi Tsuchiya: 智美土屋.

* I am semi-inspired by the character, Shoma (from the Rival Schools series), for my softball-themed character.

Fictional Character - Sandy Gonzalez

Sandra (Sandy) Gonzalez is a hard rock kind of girl. She's into the Goth lifestyle, but is in no way a die hard of Goth culture. She just loves anything that isn't overly girly or cute. Many say she's an absolute tomboy. Sandy only hangs out with people who love rock music and can't stand any other kind of music, especially hip-hop. She doesn't care if she's ugly just because she looks boyish to some. Sandy is a fictional character from my MUGEN project I discussed in my MUGEN project.

NOTE: The following is a conceptual image of my fictional character using Meez. This image will be used as a placeholder until I create a proper image to share online.

^ Sandy Gonzales (conceptual image), a fictional MUGEN character idea of mine

--- Basic Details ---
Name: Sandy Gonzalez
Full Name: Sandra Anita Gonzalez
Nickname: -none-
Birthplace: Anaheim, California, USA
Born: October 10, 1984
Height: 5 feet, 9 inches
Body Type: Curvy/Full-Figured
Heritage: 100% Mexican
Occupation: Guitarist and Vocalist of an All-Female Rock Band

Thinks of Herself As: a hard rocker! She can care less what anyone thinks of her personality, even if some dislike her personality and image

--- About This Character ---
Sandy Gonzalez is just a girl who loves to rock. She actually began her love affair with rock back in Kindergarten. Funny that she began with her own acoustic guitar. As she entered high school, Sandy went to her first rock concert in Los Angeles. Three of her friends would later form their band with Sandy. Even while in high school, Sandy's band played at talent shows. Their overall talent has earned them lots of success. The band was looking to become a signed band. But unforunately, they couldn't land a record deal.

Life.
Sandy Gonzalez was born Sandra Anita Gonzalez in October of 1984. Her parents are both full-blooded Mexican as they became U.S. citizens in 1981. They previously lived in Tijuana, Mexico. Their first American home was in San Diego, just to be close to home. When Sandy's mother, Anita, was pregnant with baby Sandy, the family moved to their current home of Anaheim. Baby Sandy was well educated in music. She actually played violin, but found violins boring. Her father, Enrique, loves classic rock. He sometimes hums his favorite rock tunes on a sunny day in Anaheim. Sandy actually liked pop music and hip-hop. Her love of music completely changed to rock when she went to her first rock concert at only 13. She wanted her own acoustic guitar for her birthday. As she became more involved in making music, she ended up constantly breaking the strings of the guitar. It wasn't until when she graduated from high school that she'd get her own electric guitar.

Some of Sandy's friends learned of her guitar talent and wanted to form a band. The quartet had just enough money to get a decent set of drums, some extra guitars, and even some good quality speakers. Their first concert was a makeshift one as Sandy and her crew did a one-off rock concert on the campus of California State University-Long Beach (or Long Beach State). They put on a great outdoor rock show. Then, they tried their luck in Los Angeles. While they put on a great performance, no one wanted to give the girls a record deal. So the girls just decide to be just a college band.

Sandy's attitude and clothing choices were fueled by hate of one girl from her high school graduating class. One girl was a solo guitarist and rocker, and she ended up getting a rock music contract. Sandra was viciously jealous of her because she was pretty in looks, but lacked any real musical talent. Sandy decided to drop her girly ways and "intentionally" dress ugly. She started cutting off most of her to look more like a boy. She went from shoulder-length hair to something boyish. Sandy still retained some of her bangs to help shape her face. A lot of her really cute shoes were donated. Sandy went from a pretty face to a mean girl... with a pretty face. She started wearing more dark-colored clothes and threw away all of the CDs from pop and hip-hop artists she's previously listened to.

Sandy also engaged in underground fight clubs to develop her brawling skills. She specifically wishes to fight pretty girls to rough them up and beat them down. Sandy only lost three times in the twenty or so fights she's been in.

Her lifestyle is purely rock music now. She only hangs out with people who love rock music. She only goes to rock concerts while loathing any other kind of music (even soft rock). She wears more clothing with mean messages or skulls more than cute shirts with hearts and/or flowers. Sandy still aspires to get a music contract for either herself or for her group, and her best chance is with an upcoming all-female fighting tournament.

--- Style of Sandy Gonzales ---
An aspect of this fighting game concept is fashion. It's a convergence of personalities and styles in one package.

Primary Look.
Sandy's looks are all about being boy-tough while being modestly girly. She wears a black top that has in small magenta letters, "Girl Rock." Between "Girl" and "Rock" is a small heart. Sandy's bottoms are either from long dark gray cargo shorts or a long pleated skirt. She wears combat boots to complete the look.

Secondary Looks and Variations.
-none-

--- The Tournament ---
Since my character is a fighter from my MUGEN project, this pertains to her history as a fighter.

Sandy was a lover of all music, but has since been a hard rock girl. She is fairly heavy, but is very athletic. Her punches can deal some serious damage. Since she's heavy, her mobility and agility suffer greatly. She's more the kind of fighter who wants to put away her opponent(s) quickly. She can also deal some serious damage with great hold attacks. Her melee weapon is an acoustic guitar, in which one of her girls throws an acoustic guitar into Sandy's hands and swings it down like an axe on the head or lower body of her opponent.

Sandy wants to show the world that girls rock. Her motivation to keep fighting is to beat down anyone who hates rock music or is very pretty with little or no talent. If Sandy wins the tournament, she'd replace the luxury car with a cruiser motorcycle and the exotic sports car with a beautiful American muscle car.

Extra Notes
* I had initially named her Sandy Gutierrez. But I've changed her surname to the one I've used for her in the past- Gonzalez.

Fictional Character - Suzie LeMarie

From high fashion to high turmoil, Suzie LeMarie is a young college student in an all-female fighting tournament. Suzie loves charity work more than fashion. She moved from her native Paris, France to study fashion design at New York University. What has transpired since has been nothing but depression and turmoil. A friend of hers suggested she try out fighting. And ever since, she is reluctant to try to win this tournament while also getting people to donate to viable charities. With Suzie's life going out of control, there is a dark rumor circulating that she will kill herself if she fails to win the tournament (or finish strong in the tournament). Suzie is a fictional character from my MUGEN project I discussed in my MUGEN project.

NOTE: The following is a conceptual image of my fictional character using Meez. This image will be used as a placeholder until I create a proper image to share online.

^ Suzie LeMarie (conceptual image), a fictional MUGEN character idea of mine

--- Basic Details ---
Name: Suzie LeMarie
Full Name: Suzanna Elise LeMarie
Nickname: Suzie
Birthplace: Paris, France
Current Home: New York City, New York, USA
Born: May 15, 1989
Height: 5 feet, 5 inches
Body Type: slim and slender
Heritage: 100% French
Occupation: College Student (New York University)

Thinks of Herself As: kind and gentle, but often lacks self-esteem and feeling personally happy with herself

--- About This Character ---
Suzie loves fashion, but loves charity work even more. She signed a deal with a well-known French shoe designer to help fund a special charity through her matches. Suzie urges all viewers of the tournament to donate to charity.

Suzie was born Susanna Elise LeMarie. The native of Paris, France commonly wants to be referred to as Suzie. Her family is spread apart France. The only family member of hers not in France is her cousin, who lives in London, England. She knew she wanted to be a fashion designer since seeing her first fashion show at the age of six. Her mother, Elizabeth, would teach her how to sew and how to knit. Suzie entered a beauty pageant at age 12 and won with the stunning designs her and her mother have created. Suzie would move to New York City to further her quest of haute couture after graduating from high school. Suzie is now an international student at New York University as she tries to start her own clothing line.

Recently, Suzie's world has been turned upside down when her grandmother, Cecilia, passed away. Suzie's grades were slipping, and she would constantly be in her room trembling in fear and crying heavily. She even wanted to return to Paris as her life was beginning to fall apart. She made friends with a classmate named Louise at NYU who helped her ease her pain. This friend somehow convinced her to try something outside of fashion and school to ease her mind and enhance her image. Suzie turned to fighting. She enrolled in yoga and in tai chi classes. Her conditioning became so impressive that she tried out martial arts. Suzie's concentrated attacks and sheer finesse have made her quite tough to challenge to a fight. Feeling confident, she tried out a few martial arts tournaments and won. Suzie became happier and more confident about herself.

Then later, more sadness arose. Because of her slumping grades and depressed life, she was dropped from her fashion design class. Suzie became so disheartened and felt like nothing EVER works in her favor. Each depressing day has led her to thinking of something she never would have considered- suicide. Friends have helped her to subside her suicidal thoughts. Even her friend told her to take part in a fighting tournament qualifier held in New York City. So Suzie signed up for the tournament and tested her skill against other local talent. Since Suzie became so hateful of herself, she wouldn't have been surprised if she failed to advance. Unfortunately, she did advance. She even became one of eight finalists to compete for the title of Grand Champion for this championship.

She became confident, but still thinks her success is superficial. There was a dark rumor circulating that if she doesn't win the tournament or finishes strong in the tournament... she will kill herself.

--- Style of Suzie LeMarie ---
An aspect of this fighting game concept is fashion. It's a convergence of personalities and styles in one package.

Primary Look.
Suzie's look emphasizes lovely legs and chic clothes. She wears a white short-sleeve blouse with a dark gray vest worn over it. A matching dark gray pair of trouser-like short-shorts are worn. The look is topped off with a cute pair of black suede wedge booties.

Secondary Looks and Variations.
There are only variations of her look, mostly wearing colored tights along with her boots. Another variation is a cropped vest worn with her button-down blouse, only that her blouse is open to show her navel.

--- The Tournament ---
Since my character is a fighter from my MUGEN project, this pertains to her history as a fighter.

The tournament is somewhat a make-or-break deal for Suzie LeMarie. Scouts say that she lacks power or any kind of fierceness, but makes up for it with swift and precise attacks. A big deterrent of her fighting ability lies in if Suzie lets her depression get in the way of her.

Winning the grand prize means very little to her. If anything, this is a test to see if Suzie can survive in a rough world. Her fighting is more towards donating to charity rather than trying to become rich. She would like to return to the fashion design class she was dropped from at NYU if she wins.

Extra Notes
* I do not know of any proper French last names. So what I did was base Suzie's last name on race car driver, Patrick LeMarie.

* I alternated between her wearing open-toe booties and open-toe slingback booties. I was inspired to think of her with booties to be consistent with a fashion trend of wearing short-shorts with ankle boots.

* She is really the only character I've visualized who looks the most classy. That's even with short-shorts and fierce booties.

Fictional Character - Lydia Odelia Vasquez-Escobar

Lydia Odelia Vasquez-Escobar (better known as "LOVE") is a fictional character from my MUGEN project I discussed in my MUGEN project. She is one of eight different finalists in an all-female fighting tournament. She is the oldest finalist as well as the only one who is married and has a child of her own. Despite the cute name, she is a fierce fighter.

NOTE: The following is a conceptual image of my fictional character using Meez. This image will be used as a placeholder until I create a proper image to share online.

^ Lydia Odelia Vasquez Escobar (LOVE) (conceptual image), a fictional MUGEN character idea of mine

--- Basic Details ---
Name: Lydia Odelia Vasques-Escobar
Full Name: Lydia Odelia Vasquez-Escobar
Nickname: LOVE
Birthplace: Sao Paulo, Brazil
Current Home: Dallas, Texas, USA
Born: July 25, 1980
Height: 5 feet, 8 inches
Body Type: Average, athletic build
Heritage: Afro-Brazilian
Occupation: Dancing Instructor

Thinks of Herself As: rough and tough, strong-willed, often dissatisfied

--- About This Character ---
Lydia is the only finalist in an all-female fighting tournament who is both married and has a child of her own. She enjoys being both a wife and a mother. Her problem with most of the other finalists is that they are too cute and not serious about fighting to become Grand Champion of the tournament. Whereas most other girls can take a joke, Lydia sometimes can't take a joke. She likes having fun, but doesn't allow herself to have many friends. Lydia does have a love of fashion. Her regimen has made her to become somewhat of a fitness freak.

Lydia was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She was born as Lydia Odelia Vasquez, a young girl who loves playing soccer. She competed in a few youth leagues until she decided to take on things like boxing. Many people were making fun of her as she grew older. Lydia started gaining weight through her teen years. By the time Lydia graduated from high school, she was unhappy with her appearance. She tried exercising early and often, but never to any avail. That's when she met a talented young football (as in soccer) player named Victor Escobar. He played for the Brazilian Under-21 team and even logged three goals playing for the Brazilian national team in World Cup tournament play.

Lydia and Victor married each other in 2000. Later in 2000, Lydia would become pregnant. She gained more weight while nursing her baby. In August 2001, baby Maria Escobar was born. Victor wanted to help Lydia lose weight. So Lydia began to take part doing boxing and capoeira. Through a rigorous regimen, Lydia's body became well-sculpted. She never looked better with her sculpted abs, built arms, strong legs, and more. Lydia had the confidence to wear her favorite little black dress and her sexiest pair of sandals. The couple decided to move to Dallas, Texas in 2005 to start a dance studio. She wanted youth to participate in capoeira and rhumba.

An Attitude Change.
While graciously in love with Victor, Lydia began to develop an attitude change. Victor's past in international soccer competition has led him to become such a respectful figure. So much so that some women started looking at him with loving interest at a fast food restaurant. One young college student came onto Victor. The girl mentioned how much of a fan she is of Brazilian football and even complimented his looks. Lydia thought she was trying to steal her husband. So in an act of rage, Lydia viciously beaten the college girl with her hard-hitting punches. She made the college girl's nose bleed as the girl ran out of the restaurant. As the couple got home, Lydia had a vicious argument. Victor kept trying to tell Lydia that the girl was simply talking about her soccer career.

Her attitude has gotten even more out of control in recent times. Any girl that looks at Victor or tries to come on to him is going to get viciously attacked. Victor has become so disappointed in her behavior that he's threatening to file for divorce if she doesn't change her violent ways.

--- Style of Lydia ---
An aspect of this fighting game concept is fashion. It's a convergence of personalities and styles in one package.

Primary Look.
Lydia's primary look is a sporty ensemble that bears the colors of the Brazilian flag. She wears a green sports bra colored in green along with a design of the Brazilian flag on the front. She wears yellow pants similar to the yellow colors of her native country's flag. They have two white athletic stripes on each side. Her boxing gloves are yellow and at the knuckles, is a blue circle similar to the blue circle where "Ordem E Progresso" is found. Lydia is basically sharing her Brazilian heritage in her outfit. The look is topped off with all-white running shoes.

Secondary Looks.
An alternative look to her simply replaces her wind pants with an active skort.

When not fighting, a look of hers is a little black dress with a sexy pair of black high-heel sandals.

--- The Tournament ---
Since my character is a fighter from my MUGEN project, this pertains to her history as a fighter.

Lydia Odelia Vasquez-Escobar shown her prowess as an intense fighter. The scouts say she's too fierce and gets overaggressive at times. Her power alone is enough to vault her to victory in almost any match. Her charisma and fighting style is essentially a brawler. Lydia does not fool around in matches. She does utilize kicks, but some say her kicks are not as powerful as her punches.

She wants to represent young married mothers in this intense tournament.

This young fighting star is a straight brawler who has no respect for her opposition. She lacks class at times, but she just gets it done in the ring.

Fictional Character - Candy Love

Candy "Candysweet" Love is one of the fictional character from my MUGEN project I discussed in my MUGEN project. She is one of eight different finalists in an all-female fighting tournament. She is a girl who defines herself by three S-words: sassy, spicy, and sweet. She loves dancing and listening to hot music. Most unusual about her is the way she was born. Sometimes, she can't even believe how she was born.

Here is an old drawing of my character (that I still want to make a newer version of):

^ I've re-imagined Candy Love. Candy is actually a brunette. My intent was on making a girl that's really American, but with 25% Japanese descent.

NOTE: The following is a conceptual image of my fictional character using Meez. This image will be used as a placeholder until I create a proper updated image to share online.

^ Candy "Candysweet" Love (conceptual image), a fictional MUGEN character idea of mine

--- Basic Details ---
Name: Candy Love
Full Name: Candy Constance Love
Nickname: Candysweet, as in Candy "Candysweet" Love
Birthplace: Houston, Texas, USA
Born: February 14, 1986
Height: 5 feet, 7 inches
Body Type: Average, athletic build
Heritage: 75% American, 25% Japanese
Occupation: Go-Go Dancer

Thinks of Herself As: three "S" words- sassy, spicy, and sweet.

--- About This Character ---
Candy is a young go-go dancer who is part of a go-go dancing team and also a fighter in an all-female fighting tournament. She is the daughter of a native Texan and a Japanese-American mother. She would like to learn more Japanese because of her Japanese-American roots. Over time, Candy would grow a fondness of gymanstics, especially gymnastic ribbons. Candy defines herself by three S's- sassy, spicy, and sweet. Sassy since she's such a stylish diva with diva charm. She can be spicy sometimes as she can be angry with others and unintentionally sarcastic. But overall, she's sweet and fairly easy to get along with. One thing she hates is when people assume she's a stripper just because of being named Candy Love. If anything, she embraces the name Candy because she's sweet and indulgent. That's even though many people immediately think being named Candy denotes an exotic dancer. It's more of personality traits to her rather than presuming anything nasty about her. Her favorite music is anything with a great beat- hip-hop, certain pop songs, electronic dance music, and more.

Birth.
Candy Love has one of the strangest upbringings. The short story- she was born in a candy store at a mall, on Valentine's Day. The long story... her mother, Helen Hitomiyo-Love (born Himiko Hitomiyo), was set to give birth to her baby girl some time in the middle of February. Helen and her husband, Terry Love, spent Valentine's Day at a popular mall in Houston, Texas. Helen wanted to visit a candy store at the mall. It was at this point that Helen was ready to deliver a bundle of joy. Some of the shoppers in the candy store had to leave as EMT's rushed to aid Helen in labor. Finally, baby Candy was born. Helen actually wanted to name her "Candace," but thought "Candy" was better even as people argued that "Candy" isn't a good name to name a child. The baby girl born on Valentine's Day in a candy shop was taken to a nearby hospital for further support.

Childhood and Teenage Years.
As Candy was introduced to the world by her loving parents (albeit in unusual fashion), she beared the same brown eyes of her father along with the lovely hair of her mother. She was always seen as a little girl that dared to dream. She enjoyed dancing and singing in her early years. She even sang a sweet song for her aunt, who passed away when Candy was three years old. It wasn't until her middle school years where Candy would check out gymnastic competition. As a 6th Grader, Candy saw one young girl twirl a gymanstic ribbon beautifully. She would train endlessly to be the best gymnast in the Houston area while also making sure to keep good grades in school. Her first attempt in gymanstic ribbon was great, but not great enough to win her any honors. She didn't achieve fame until her high school years. When Candy wanted to become a better gymnast, her mother made a special silver and red sequined outfit. Her mother also made something unusual- a gymnastic ribbon adorned with lots of sequins and studs on the ribbon part. So when the lights were turned off and the spotlight shone on Candy, it would seem like she was twirling a ribbon of stars in her routines. The fans were blown away by her performance that she became a champion on her way to graduation from high school.

During the Summer she graduated from high school, she wanted to focus more on dancing. So she decided to look at go-go dancing. Candy was impressed by popular go-go dancers that she seen in Internet pictures and in Internet video. She wanted to learn more about go-go dancing. A friend of hers who helped her to become a better dancer was a Houston native named Heather Chavez. Heather was part of a go-go dancing team started by an eccentric promoter called the "Sweet Eats." In fact, the (born in 1987)-year old Heather is often nicknamed as "Honey Heather" for her honey-like skin. Candy wanted to audition for this go-go dancing group, and with little money, she did not fail to impress. She joined this group eventually with two other girls. The other two girls were named Suzanne and Cherise. Suzanne is nicknamed "Sugar" and is the oldest of the four, born in Sweden in 1982. Cherise is affectionately known as "Cocoa" for her chocolate brown skin. She is of Jamaican decent, born in 1989 in Kingston, Jamaica.

Go-Go Dancing.
As Candy became more active, her father made a special room for her to work out and make her stronger. It consisted of lots of workout equipment and even a little stage to help her prepare for go-go dancing. She would commit to exercising and staying fit to help maintain her lovely looks. Her level of fitness was incredible. She had a sculpted and seductive midsection, some strong arms, and strong legs. Candy was now starting to look sweeter than ever with good moves to compliment her style. Her next move was to purchase some go-go dancing clothes to help her become one of Houston's hottest go-go dancers. One such aspect that made Sweet Eats better than any other go-go dancing promotion was that this group brings West Coast-style go-go dancing to Houston. Part of this included a popular pair of five-inch tall platform boots that are surprisingly very comfortable to wear and dance in. Candy wasn't very happy seeing dancers wearing Converse-like sneaker boots to dance in. Instead, she sported a pair of five-inch tall go-go dancing boots were worn by Candy and her girls. On her first night, Candy sported her lovely five-inch tall platform boots, some fishnet stockings, a pair of dancer hot shorts, and a cropped dancer halter top. She became overly confident in her looks and her performance that she decided to order more outfits. All the while, Candy was still commited to education. She knew that she couldn't party and dance too hard because she wants her degree from the University of Houston. So there was a cap as to how far she could extend her popularity as a dancer.

A Dark Secret.
Candy is generally a sweet person. There is a secret that she think will haunt and devastate her if the secret is told. "Honey" Heather is one of her go-go dancing partners. The two have become close as friends. But the fact is that Heather has a boyfriend. Problem is... Candy started looking at Heather in loving interest. She loves Heather just by looking at how beautiful Heather is and what she means to Candy. She doesn't want anyone to know that she secretly enjoys the company of women as much as she highly enjoys the company of men. The reason why is because she wants to be known for her fighting talent, not the fact that Candy has loving affection for Heather.

--- Style of Candy Love ---
An aspect of this fighting game concept is fashion. It's a convergence of personalities and styles in one package. She doesn't want tattoos or piercings.

Primary Look.
Her primary fighting look is her favorite go-go dancing outfit. She wears a pair of strawberry pink platform boots, white fishnet stockings, a strawberry pink pair of hot shorts, a cropped strawberry pink dancing halter top, a white fishnet dancing shrug, some red open MMA gloves, and has her chocolate brown whip as her melee weapon.

Secondary Looks.
One of her alternate looks is a anughty schoolgirl outfit. The boots are the same as her regular boots, only this look has a two-tone design meant to resemble tall socks with mary janes. A short novelty schoolgirl skirt is worn over her hot shorts. Rather than a bikini top, she wears a cropped knotted blouse. She even wears a pair of nerdy novelty glasses for an extra touch.

Sometimes, she wears a pair of custom-made open-heel, peep-toe platform boots along with flared legwarmers along with some of her outfits.

Away from fighting, one of her favorite looks is a playful outfit with dressy appeal. is a chocolate brown pinstripe cropped bolero, a red satin camisole with white lace trim, some chocolate brown pinstripe wide-leg cropped trousers that extend down to mid-calf, and either some knee-high boots or pointed-toe pumps in either red or chocolate brown.

--- The Tournament ---
Since my character is a fighter from my MUGEN project, this pertains to her history as a fighter.

One night, a crazy stunt was lined up that would shoot Candy's level of stardom over the top. A boxing match was set up between Candy and some of her friends. The catch? The girls had to fight in their go-go outfits... including their five-inch tall boots. Candy won her match against one of her girl friends. Candy would later take on a go-go dancing girl that was a former amateur wrestler. This former amateur wrestler was making fun of her name and her boots. What Candy did was inconceivable- she ended up doing things like delivering a super kick to her as well as German suplexing her. The video of her beating a wrestler became a viral video hit online.

After she had that wild night, Candy looked at a whip she saw in the room that her father helped build. Consistent with her name, this leather whip was colored chocolate brown. Candy wanted to give gymnastics another try. This time, she wanted to make a strange parallel between gymnastic ribbons and go-go dancing. So Candy decided to incorporate her whip into her fighting routines. She somehow convinced a maker of alternative footwear to make a special pair of five-inch tall platform boots as comfortable as her dancing-specific boots, but a bit more athletic. She also went ahead and bought some open gloves similar to what mixed martial artists wear. She challenged herself to go as far as she could sporting her unusual five-inch tall platform boots and fighting in them. This uniqueness will challenge Candy's limits as a fighter.

In the tournament qualification matches, Candy would meet a young New York City girl named A.J. Garcia. She learned all about A.J. from the tournament's website. Candy immediately bonded with A.J., and the two would become great friends when both were declared finalists. Candy and Abbie hold hands and hug each other as best friends. They are cute together. But in the back of her mind, Candy knows she will one day fight against her new best friend in the tournament. She hopes winning the fighting tournament won't result in breaking ties with her best friend.

Her motivation to win this tournament is that she's sick and tired of Houston not winning any sporting championships in a long while. She feels she's bearing all of Houston on her back in this tournament to represent Houston all the way to a championship.

The sassy, spicy, sweet diva is a truly unique character and one of the more colorful characters in the tournament. Candy is so timid at times that she can't believe how powerful she really is. Imagine a go-go dancer in her massive platform boots that packs a whip and can deliver some good punches. She's all out to win!

Extra Notes
* My primary inspiration for Candy Love was go-go dancer/actress/DJ/host Teemaree. This was primarily for Teemaree's wonderful physique. She was also one of the first go-go dancers I've admired.

* Since Candy is Japanese-American, she was also semi-inspired by the beautiful Arika Sato. As I did a random search for Japanese-American girls, I came across Arika Sato and have since enjoyed her media work.

* Candy was initially conceived as a blonde. But I've since changed her up to be a brunette. I even considered her as a brunette that dyed her hair blonde.

* I didn't get to include fishnet stockings or her fishnet shrug until I conceptualized future concepts of her.

* She was initially supposed to be 5'3", but I changed her height so that her height (including in her boots) is as tall as my height- 6'0".

* The pink boots she wears when go-go dancing are similar to these boots, only in patent leather:
Pleaser Men's Stack-301 Platform Boots,Black PU,13 M US (this is an Amazon link. Click to learn more and buy, though I'm not promoting these)

These boots have been the most commonly-worn boots the past few years by go-go dancers. Believe it or not... these boots are unisex though they look awesome on girl dancers.

* One of the primary points of making this character is to show that just because she's named Candy doesn't mean she's a stripper or anything. Candy, in this case, is about being sweet and genuine. It's also about being sexy without overdoing it.

* Her go-go dancing partners have different and distinctive outfits. "Honey" Heather is the only girl in the go-go dancing team who wears glittery boots. She wears the same color outfit as Candy, but she doesn't wear fishnet stockings or fishnet shrugs. "Sugar" Suzanna is the only one who wears lace-up boots. She is also the tallest and oldest of the girls. "Cocoa" Cherise is the youngest and shortest of the four. Fans of Cocoa love her Jamaican accent.

Thanks for reading! More of my characters will be unveiled in the future.

Fictional Character - A.J. Garcia

Meet one of my fictional characters- A.J. Garcia. She is a fictional character from my MUGEN project I discussed in my MUGEN project. A.J. is one of eight different finalists in an all-female fighting tournament.

NOTE: The following is a conceptual image of my fictional character using Meez. This image will be used as a placeholder until I create a proper image to share online.

^ Abbie Jessica (A.J.) Garcia (conceptual image), a fictional MUGEN character idea of mine

--- Basic Details ---
Name: A.J. Garcia
Full Name: Abbie (Abigail) Jessica Garcia
Birthplace: Manhattan, New York, USA
Born: April 11, 1987
Height: 5 feet, 5 inches
Body Type: Plus Size/Full-Figure/Curvy
Heritage: 100% Salvadoran
Occupation: College Student (St. John's University in Jamaica, NY)

Thinks of herself as: an absolutely girly-girl, sweet, genuine, kind, respectful, cute

--- About This Character ---
A.J. Garcia was born and raised in Manhattan. Her birth certificate says "Abbie," but some do call her "Abigail," which she doesn't like. A.J. is pure Salvadoran as both of her parents were born in San Salvador, El Salvador. She was born a few years since becoming United States citizens. She always envisioned herself as a beautiful princess in her childhood. A.J. would one day dream a handsome prince asks to dance with her (ballroom style) and ask to marry her. She's always loved cute and girly things and enjoys life.

As a person, A.J. is very sweet and friendly. Abbie doesn't follow fashion trends- she just wears what makes her comfortable and happy. That's even if discontinued trends are involved. A.J. isn't disappointed if she isn't as stylish as some other New York City women her age. She also isn't discouraged about being curvy. She's fabulously curvy and loves the skin she's in as well as not being doubtful of her appearance. She has a beautiful face and lovely shoulder-length hair. A.J. is an absolute girly-girl. She is a great fan of shopping, cute clothes, hanging out with friends, watching movies, doing random things, and most of all... having fun. She even likes going to the nightclub and partying with her friends. Most of her kindness has come from the fact that she used to be a babysitter. She's not really an animal lover, but she used to have a dog.

While her life has seemed sugary, there was a time where A.J. had to fight to defend herself. This resulted in multiple confrontations she's had to fight for herself in rough times. She has lived in New York City most of her life, but had to move to Los Angeles with her mother for a business deal. It wasn't until her high school years where she and her family moved back to New York City. This is where A.J. would later graduate from high school. A.J. moved from Manhattan to Queens to attend St. John's University. Abbie is soon to graduate with her Bachelor's in Communications. She is in no way belligerent- A.J. is very well disciplined in knowing there are certain times to fight.

Abbie used to have a boyfriend, but she dumped him for being a pervert. Abbie has a major dream- become married to a handsome gentleman. She even loves flirting with guys to try to land that Prince Charming. A.J. also likes cooking, and she feels the quickest way to a man's heart is to make delicious food, dessert, and sweets for him. So she sometimes looks to make delicious sweets for guys she meets and loves.

--- Style of A.J. Garcia ---
An aspect of this fighting game concept is fashion. It's a convergence of personalities and styles in one package.

Primary Look.

A.J.'s style of dress is "comfy cute." She's stylish while also feeling comfy. Her style is comfy while not being overly lazy. She wears a dark pink bolero jacket, a white satin camisole, and a pair of dark brown gaucho pants that extend to about mid-calf. Her choice of footwear is a pair of dark pink sneaker-like mary jane wedges that are comfortable and cute.

Secondary Looks.
I had a casual outfit in mind for A.J. besides the one mentioned above. An alternate look I had for her was a dark pink T-shirt that says in white cursive letters, "Pretty in Pink." A shorter denim bolero [in medium wash] is worn along with some medium wash jeans and a cute pair of black peep-toe pumps.

A nightclub look of hers is this sapphire blue satin shirtdress paired with some strappy silver sandals. Another nightclub look is a purple/violet palazzo jumpsuit with a halter top design. Those are paired with white peep-toe pumps.

--- The Tournament ---
Since my character is a fighter from my MUGEN project, this pertains to her history as a fighter.

Abbie learned of a fighting tournament going on. She went ahead to participate in the tournament. Madison Square Garden was converted to a fighting arena where many tournament hopefuls would compete to be among the eight finalists. She did very well in the first series of matches. She even made friends with an Ohio native named Debbie Denton (whom she fought against). Abbie attended the second (and final) heat to determine who all would make the field for the tournament. This is where she would get to meet a lovely go-go dancer from Texas. This go-go dancer was obviously A.J.'s biggest fan, even though she hasn't even been declared a finalist yet. Abbie didn't fight against the go-go dancer in the one-on-one matches, but she was elated when she got good marks about her fighting ability.

Her motivation to win the tournament comes from what she wrote in a journal once:

"I am but one New York City girl. In a city of millions of people, my primary motivation is to be one in a million to become a champion."

Having said this, she's reluctant to win this tournament to represent her city and even to become a positive inspiration to others. She's told to be the most well-equipped and well-versed contender in this tournament. Her skills and techniques are purely average, making her the best all-around talent in the competition.

As a fighter in this tournament, Abbie is one cutie that's not afraid to knuckle up when it's time to fight. The amount of discipline and class she possesses is incredible. It is almost as if nothing or no one can break her. She is truly sweet and genuine to all she comes in contact with (excluding any of her would-be enemies).

My MUGEN Project

My previous blog entry concerned fictional characters I came up with. This blog entry confirms something I've tried to conceptualize, but never came into fruition. I'll leave a few details undisclosed. If you haven't read my blog entry about what M.U.G.E.N. (not the tuning group of Honda), read my blog entry on MUGEN.

--- A Brief Introduction ---
Back in 2008, I got my Associate's in the Arts. I then began to wonder if I had made my own characters for MUGEN. There's something you need to know about me... I am always dreaming and always wanting to make those dreams come true. So let me introduce you to something I've had planned for one of the most popular freeware PC games ever. This is exclusive stuff right here!

REMINDER: Some details are still undisclosed.

--- My Primary Project ---
Here is the story of a project I had lined up (and still try to line up)...

Storyline.
In the Summer of 2008, a new reality TV show was set to debut on TV. A former kickboxing champion wanted to start a brand-new reality show. His ideas? He thinks reality TV is all played out. Everything from really fake people to calling in to vote people off were concepts he didn't believe in. This kickboxing champion, however, also loves reality shows involving beautiful women. So in one of the weirdest and most unusual concepts on TV, Tommy Kenny Owens (yes, "T.K.O") decided to come up with a fighting tournament that would bring together eight ladies from around the world no younger than 18 and no older than 30 in a Street Fighter-esque fighting tournament. The only way to earn immunity- WIN! This is a knockout tournament where eight compete. After the first series, one unlucky contestant will be knocked out of the tournament. The winner of the tournament will acheive what the producers call, "unworldly fame."

The tournament winner wins:
* her own mansion just outside of downtown San Francisco
* $1,500,000 USD in cash
* her own six-figure luxury car
* a hot Italian supercar painted in her favorite color

Someone's life will be changed forever once this tournament is complete. Hundreds of contenders the world over have been reduced to eight. The chosen eight finalists will compete in a specially-built fighting arena Studio City, California, USA for the Grand Prize.

There is a hidden backstory to this tournament. Many of the finalist snubs from preliminaries decided to head back home and make ready for next season's tournament next year. However, an up-and-coming Internet model who was not selected to compete in the tournament convinced some of the snubbed finalists to form a faction to battle against the chosen finalists. One of the finalist snubs was a young girl from St. Louis, Missouri, USA to be her special enforcer. What the Internet model doesn't know is... she's actually a decoy. This faction of dejected finalists were unofficially known as the "Jealous Girls." What is the mission of the Jealous Girls? Simple- sneak up and attack the finalists when no fighting is going on. Who are the ones in this faction? Many of the girls are college students, some are street thugs, some are married, a few are pregnant... in other words- being snubbed from a fighting tournament is worth putting your life on the line to send a message to a television program. Basically, they head out into public and try to surround each finalist, basically making the finalists have to fight to defend themselves. This brings out a "me against the world" situation.

The ladies in the tournament can't be too concerned with the jealous girls. All they have to do is worry about the tournament. There's also a rumor circulating that the leader of this faction will personally meet the eventual champion and challenger her to a fight. The enforcer of the faction leader may show her true colors and set her up.

It's a girl's world, after all! :)

Rules.
The contestants in this unique tournament have a few requirements- you have to be a proven fighter, and most of all... have fun. All contestants have to enter these preliminary tournaments in various cities. Hundreds of contenders will be whitteled down to just eight. The contestants will all go in one-on-one matches with a maximum of three rounds. You are NOT eliminated if you lose your match. Instead, you are eliminated if you either lose the most matches in one string of matches or if you don't show enough grit and determination to win. After each series, one young lady would be sent home while the rest keep competing to stay alive in the tournament for the Grand Prize.

The fights are all about traditional fighting. No back alley brawls, no underground fight clubs, no lethal weapons... it's just fist-to-fist, kick-to-kick combat. Also, there is nothing in the way of fireballs, magical attacks, Fatality moves, floating in the air... none of that.

The Characters.
Each of the eight characters represent several different countries. None of them represent any specific style of fighting, though a few of them specialize in a certain style. Future "Fictional Characters" blog entries will discuss further details of each character. But for the meanwhile, here is a brief look at the eight tournament finalists and two of the outsiders. Here is a brief description of each character (separated by asterisks):

NOTE: Since this concept was brought about in 2008, their ages are as of 2008.

* FINALIST 1: a 21-year old born in Manhattan, New York is seen as an absolute girly-girl. Her personality is sweet and friendly. This girl has had to fight for herself against other girls (even a few rowdy boys) in her youth. She's lived in Los Angeles before in her teen years, but has since moved back to New York City for her high school and college years. She's set to graduate with her Bachelor's Degree from St. John's University in Queens.

* FINALIST 2: a 22-year old go-go dancer from Houston, Texas, USA. She is very sassy and stylish. Her upbringing was crazy. She's was a gymnastics star in high school, mostly specializing in twirling gymnastic ribbons. She's mostly American, but she's also 25% Japanese from her Japanese-American mother. The go-go dancer graduated not long ago from the University of Houston.

* FINALIST 3: a 28-year old dancing instructor born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She is the only finalist who is married and is a mother. She was heckled a lot as a teenager, mostly for her weight. It wasn't until she married a former player of the Brazilian national football (as in soccer team) who helped her to lose weight. After giving birth to the couple's daughter in 2001, this lady lost lots of weight. And since 2003, she's both beautiful and sexy. She's tried her hand at boxing and at capoeira. There is one deterrent about her. She once caught a young twenty-something looking at her husband with loving interest, and she viciously attacked her to the point of injury. She's gotten out of control to where she will attack ANY woman who looks at her husband with loving interest. Her husband thinks she's way out of control and may consider divorce until she changes her ways.

* FINALIST 4: a 19-year old college student born in Paris, France. She lives in New York City to study fashion design at New York University. As much as she loves fashion, she values giving back to charity and commiting benevolent acts even more. She used to be well-versed in yoga and tai chi. She was very fortunate to make the tournament when others doubted her ability. She has a serious deterrent- life hasn't gone well for her lately. Her grades have been slumping, her grandmother passed away, and she's severely depressed. Worst of all, she feels she needs to win this tournament because if she doesn't win the tournament (or at least finish strong)... there's a dark rumor that she'll commit suicide.

* FINALIST 5: a 24-year old born in Anaheim, California, USA. She is a vocalist and guitarist of an all-girl rock band. There is also a special shop she's opened in Anaheim (and in other points around the Los Angeles area) devoted to rock music. Unlike the other girls, she's a total tomboy. This girl absolutely hates anything that isn't real rock music (even soft rock). Rumor has it that she's flirting with a drummer of a Los Angeles college band. But, she says she's happily single.

* FINALIST 6: an 18 year old from Tokyo, Japan. She loves sports and plays softball. She is most famous for winning a softball tournament pitting multiple teenage softball teams in Tokyo on a game-winning Grand Slam. A week after she and her team won the softball tournament, her best friend (who was the pitcher for her team) was killed in a car crash. Because the two loved cats, she named her pet kitten after her. But this girl senses that the pitcher's spirit was within the cat. She has an emotional connection to her cat, as if her spirit was brought from the heavens and embodied her cute cat. She registered for the fighting tournament on her birthday, which was also the first day that applications and tryouts were handed out for finalists to compete in the tournament. Now that she's made the tournament, she faces a great challenge- she's 5'0" and needs an equalizer. So she fights with her blue softball bat to give her a reach advantage! She would love to play college softball at a major American university. Since her American home is Cincinnati, Ohio; she's considering playing softball at THE Ohio State University.

* FINALIST 7: a 22-year old born in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. This finalist is a hip-hop and R&B singer as well as a hip-hop dancer. She even likes dancing to aggressive hip-hop dance routines. She's earned her fitness from playing basketball back in her high school years. She moved to Birmingham, Alabama later in her life, and went up the road to graduate from Alabama A&M in Normal, AL. She's in the tournament to win for a very special fan of hers- her mother. Her mother is a singing legend in Atlanta and Detroit, and she's battling breast cancer. Her mother was taken to San Francisco to help her in her fight against breast cancer. This finalist will devote her winnings in prize money to finance her mother's fight against breast cancer.

* FINALIST 8: a 23-year old party girl born in Ibiza, Ibiza Town, Spain. She loves beach lifestyle and nightlife. She lives in two places in North America. She has a home in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; and an American home in San Diego, California, USA. People say she has an attitude problem, but she's cool when you get to know her. Though born in 1986, she prefers '70s culture. So she leaves home wearing some of her favorite bell bottom jeans and an aggressive pair of lace-up platform shoes. Either that, or her flip-flops depending on her mood and the weather. Her favorite beverage is a good margarita or a martini. She doesn't live dangerously, but she loves the beach and nightclub lifestyles.

Now on to the two outsiders:

* OUTSIDER 1: Hailing from St. Louis, Missouri, this 24-year old young lady lied about her age to a young aspiring Internet model. She lied about her age to fit in with this model. She loves flowers, especially one that bears her first name. This girl knows something the eight finalists aren't aware of- the Internet model is scheming a plot to attack them at any inopportune moment. Rather than tell them straight up, she comes in pretending to be an enemy. She is actually very sweet and sometimes timid. She used to be a championship bowler. That's why she loves wearing bowling-like shoes.

* OUTSIDER 2: deemed as the absolute villain, this aspiring Internet model is only 18 years of age. The tournament judges thought the Washington, D.C. native lacked class and compassion for her opponents. The model wears and does things that most other girls dislike. Her attitude is so out of control that she's been ousted rightfully from the tournament. As many hopefuls returned home or even thought about competing in next year's tournament, she was able to recruit some of the tournament hopefuls that saw their dreams get crushed. With her faction, she intends on challenging the eventual champion to a one-on-one fight when she least expects it. She has enforcers other than the St. Louis girl she recruited. Her "Jealous Girls" will also be there to make sure the Internet model is protected.

The reason why I haven't come along with a proper model for my characters is because I have no knowledge of making my own characters. I even don't want to use other characters to use as bases for creating my characters. So I've actually tried to challenge myself here. In addition to the characters I mentioned here, I've even conceptualized two other tournaments featuring more characters.

I'll share more of these characters in future blog entries, maybe even with some pictures. It was a crazy concept I had lined up. I feel I need to make more material people will want to come back to and keep reading and enjoying. So this is what I might do more of here. Thanks for reading!
