This blog is how I think about the 206 WRC from its looks.
--- Motorsports Style: The Peugeot 206 WRC ---
Here is a look at this car:^ from: damox.com - Peugeot takes its 206 WRC in action on tarmac.
To me, the Peugeot 206 WRC is one of my all-time favorite rally cars. This car handles great in various racing games that I've played. The blue lion roars loudly in rallying with this car. It was just too bad a more beautiful replacement, the 307... didn't fare so well. The Peugeot 206 WRC is a wonderful rally car. It debuted in 1999, retired in 2003 from much tougher competition, and was replaced by the beautiful Peugeot 307 WRC in 2004. Unfortunately, the 307 WRC proved severely a non-factor.
The Peugeot 206 WRC features some cat-like style up front. The sharp headlights of the 206 WRC offer a fierce, yet stylish appearance up front. The huge front air dam under the headlights can be thought of more like the mouth of this beautiful hatchback beast. The 206 WRC's aerodynamic beauty can be appreciated as you look from the sides. Not as many aggressive details accentuate the sides unless you account for the roof scoop and the rally car spoiler. A nice set of five-spoke wheels compliment this rally car nicely. From the rear, the 206 WRC doesn't intimidate anyone (except for its huge spoiler). A fairly modest rear muffler compliments the rear on the left side.
I usually offer interior views, but since you don't normally see interior views (and since it's not likely any average folk will pilot certain race cars), I'll leave this blank.
This is one of the best rally cars of this decade (2001-2010) as well as for the previous one (1991-2000). Peugeot is now trying to get its international success with sportscar racing. The Peugeot 908 HDi FAP will be replaced with a newer model along with whatever Audi will have to replace its R15 TDI Plus. Still, Peugeot built themselves a wonderful rally car when the 206 WRC came along.
