--- Watches at a Glance ---
From a cheap $15 USD or $20 USD watch... all the way up to watches costing $2K USD on up, there are many watches to suit multiple people and their respective needs. Some (like myself) just want a simple watch that's useful. I prefer digital watches because I don't want to spend too much time telling what time it is from an analog watch. I don't wear any analog watches unless it's a formal occasion. It's best to find a watch you're happiest with.When "what time is it?" is the immediate question, you need a watch. You also need a watch that is stylish. There are many watches for children and for adolescents and adults. What is right for you? That depends. Do you fancy style, or just want something simple and reliable? Do you prefer a regular watch, or are you more like a James Bond type that wants a watch with a few trick gadgets and buttons? Let's try to cover all the bases.
When I look for a watch, I try to look for one that illuminates in the dark. I want to be able to clearly read everything even when it's dark. I usually look for digital watches since they are simple to detect what time it is. I want a watch to easily be able to change time without having to press every button just to simply change the time on the watch.
--- Simple Watches ---
Simple watches are mostly inexpensive and reliable.Childrens' Watches.
Crazy enough, I want to start with children's watches. These watches can be colorful and expressive. They may have anything from cartoon characters to intricate designs. For those of you who have children, here are a few inexpensive and fun watches I've found on Amazon: I'll show some boys' watches, then show some girls' watches:
^ This digital watch is simple and basic while also looking great. It's a very cool watch for boys.
^ This is another Timex watch, but it's colorful and fun. It's an analog watch.
Now to you girls...
^ For the girl into Dora the Explorer, there's this watch here.
Adolescent and Adult Watches.
These are some watches that are very cheaply-priced and suit lots of styles. These are all watches under $50 USD on Amazon.
^ This is a simple sports digital watch that is unisex. It can be fashionable for both men and women.
--- Adolescent: Men ---
Time for a little guy time. Here are some men's watches that I've found to be very nice...
^ Who says you guys can't have a stylish watch for under $50 USD? This is yet another Timex watch that is styled very nicely. The watch is analog and can be worn casually or in semi-formal fashion.
^ Here now is a nice analog watch for you guys out there. It is styled like the previous watch, but this one is very metallic. You're a handsome guy... why not give this handsome watch a try?
--- Adolescent: Women ---
Here are some inexpensive ($50 USD or less) that I found on Amazon that I think are lovely. Have a look:
^ For you sporty ladies that want some style, this is a very cool watch to go with. The Amazon description says that this sports digital watch can withstand a triathlon. Even if you don't compete in triathlons or compete this tough, at least you can be happy your watch will withstand any sort of rigorous workout or exercise. Want a watch as tough as you are? This may be your watch.
^ This Casio watch doesn't cost an arm and a leg, but it is a very inexpensive way to look stylish.
^ This is a stainless steel analog watch for you ladies. This watch is not a bad way to stylishly know what time it is.
^ Finally, this is known as the Easy Reader watch from Timex. The face of this analog watch is big with easy-to-read numbers. It's also very stylish. Not a bad watch to wear even with some of your most stylish outfits.
That covers inexpensive watches. Now let's go up another level.
--- Fashion Watches ---
I'm going to deem stylish watches as those that are charming in looks, but not really expensive. These are watches that possess lots of style and can even be worn to formal or semi-formal functions. These watches are a little more expensive, but still have lots of style. I will concentrate on dress watches here.Men's Watches.
Here are some stylish men's watches I found on Amazon and like. Maybe you might like these too if looking for a watch:
^ This Kenneth Cole watch has a big, bold face to it. Matching the bold watch face is the brown leather strap holding this watch together. It is made for the stylish male who knows EXACTLY what time it is- his time to shine.
^ If you fancy gold, this is a lovely golden stainless steel watch. This Armitron watch is very charming and lovely. It has the right amount of style without being overly expensive.
Women's Watches.
A girl should be two things- classy and fabulous, says one Coco Chanel. These watches may help you become BOTH of these things at the same time with no compromise:

^ There's plenty of bling in this watch. But, there's also plenty of style too. This watch comes with crystals from the world renowned Swarovski. This would be the kind of watch a stylish fashion princess would wear. Are you fashion royalty? This is your watch.

^ This watch is made by the same make and with the same crystals from the same company, but this one is about 15 to 20 dollars cheaper. Not a bad way to put some style around your wrist.
^ Finally, here is a watch from watch heavyweight, Citizen. This is the first watch I've showcased that is north of $100 USD. This is purely a luxury-type watch. Everything is easy to read and is very stylish.
Here are two watches of honorable mention, both by Bulova. I wouldn't recommend wearing these watches casually, but both possess incredible style:

--- Premier Watches ---
Amazon features all kinds of stuff. I don't regularly showcase expensive stuff because I know people will want things they can afford. I don't show off expensive stuff just to get noticed. Watches featured here are all very stylish and perhaps expensive. Just best to click on these to learn more about them because you probably can't afford most of these! What makes some of these more expensive watches so special is just how stylish they are. You're talking about elite makes making elite watches. Got money? Show you do with these watches. The majority of these watches are luxury watches.Consider this unisex watch an appetizer to this section:
This is a lovely watch for both men and women. Now on to watches for both genders.
Men's Premier Watches.
Let me chat with you guys here.
^ This watch has lovely metallic accents. It's got touches of silver and gold, which is quite fitting because you'll be rich in charm with this watch. It's about as good as it gets for male style.
^ I featured a lot of Timex watches earlier. This one is good enough to be in the Luxury category. This is a watch with a bold face and held together with leather straps. This is a very stylish luxury watch that wouldn't cost you a whole lot.
^ Finally, here is a luxury watch from a luxury maker- TAG Heuer. That's right. You know what you're getting with when you got TAG Heuer. This is a stylish watch for the stylish male who has some money to burn (even in a down economy).
Later in this section, I'll introduce a few watches for fun.
Women's Watches.
The guys have had their turn. Now on to some luxury-type WOMEN'S watches.
^ This is a luxury watch, but not seriously expensive. In fact, even its list price is below $50 USD.
^ Here is a watch that looks like a golden snake is wrapped around your wrist. It looks beautiful, though.
^ This Toy Watch is no toy. It is a watch with a beautiful and bold face as well as some nice dials to it. This is expensive style.
^ Gucci girls unite! This watch packs lots of style and is pretty cute... if you can afford it.
--- Just for Fun: Have You The Money... ---
Having a watch and knowing what time it is shouldn't require you to pay royalties just to know what time it is and to look stylish while at it. But if you had the money... check THESE out that I found.Here is the most expensive men's watch I found on Amazon:
^ People, this watch costs about as much as a fairly good used Ferrari. Its price (as I saw it) is $131,669!
Here is the most expensive women's watch I found on Amazon:
Its list price is almost as much as the selling price for the previous watch. This thing here sells for $79,904 on Amazon. Still very expensive!
And finally, THIS is what $25,000,000 USD gets you, and no, it's not on Amazon:
This is a 201-carat watch from Chopard. A very small watch face boasts a whole lot of bling from all the crystals. Not even the great folks at Swarovski can come along with bling like this. In all, I read that there are as many as 600 diamonds encircling this watch. This might as well be a bracelet since you can barely read the watch face.
The key thing to all of this is... you can be able to have a watch to tell time with and look stylish with it. What you've seen in this blog entry are lots of watches for many people of many price levels. The most important thing to note is to find watches that best suit your needs and your budget. One thing I haven't mentioned in this blog entry is water resistance. So be sure to find something suitable for water resistance if this matters to you. Find something that works and suits you.
