When life gives you rainy days, always remember who brings you sunshine. That is the motto I try to motivate people when there are actual rainy and/or stormy days. I've been someone who has seen a fair share of rainy and stormy days (metaphorically speaking). The weather forecast doesn't always have sunny skies, clear nights, and comfortable temperatures for weeks on end. Sometimes, we have to face those rainy and stormy days. And when we have those miserable days, only certain people and things can help us to feel better on rough days.
I think it's important to help us remember what helps us feel better when times are rough. Cloudy skies don't last forever. Life is a delicate balance of sunshine and rain. Or look at it this way... we need both sunshine and rain. Much like we want to stay healthy and well, we sometimes have to get hurt. It's not that we are destined for pain, but as said in the song "Damaged" by Danity Kane- "sometimes, you got to go through the pain to experience the joy." Think of people in your life who give you sunshine and who help you to feel better each day. Or think of things you can turn to as sanctuary for your rough days. Always remember this, with all things notwithstanding-
"When life gives you rainy days, always remember who/what brings you sunshine to help feel better." -John Marine
