Okay. I'm a Houston Rockets fan, but I thought it was absolutely uncalled for when Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban took a cheap shot, then got slammed into a table by WWE wrestler Sheamus. Let me explain the setup.
Mark Cuban set up a WWE Championship Showdown whereas Mark Cuban asked a few questions to John Cena and Sheamus. Mark Cuban was the moderator asking questions to both Sheamus and John Cena. After three questions were asked, Sheamus started knocking down the table and clearing out the ring. Then John Cena did the same. Sheamus shoves Mark Cuban to the ground as Cena looked on. Cena got kicked in the side of his head. Sheamus would then set up a table in one of the corners of the ring. Cuban and Sheamus later had a stalemate until Cuban shoved Sheamus to the ring floor. What happened next was totally uncalled for... Sheamus picked up Mark Cuban on his shoulders and looked to slam Cuban into next week. But what he did eventually was slam Mark Cuban right into the table in the corner. Mark Cuban was a great guest host for Monday Night Raw, too.
So people who keep saying that wrestling is fake, consider this. If wrestling is fake, then Mark Cuban would have gotten right up after getting slammed hard into a table. But did he? Hell no. People who keep thinking that wrestling is fake keep on complaining that nothing seriously hurts. Like getting slammed through a table by a 240+ lb. wrestler is fake. I remember when Randy Orton did his patented backbreaker on Freddie Prinze Jr. Freddie would return to host the rest of the show, but he was obviously not the same. I hate when people keep saying that wrestling is fake. Maybe one thing about wrestling is fake- the jokes and stunts and stuff. But as far as actual full-contact wrestling goes, you're a dope if you think that all wrestling is fake.
At least, that's my view.
